- Assassin's Creed: Origins is the latest installment in Ubisoft's historical action series, set in Ancient Egypt. The game tells the story of the beginning of the war between the Templar and Assassin orders, thus serving as a prequel to the entire series. The game's protagonist, a Medjay named Bayek, witnesses a series of historical events and becomes embroiled in a conflict with the people who would later found the Templar Order.
