ABOUT THIS GAME:
The single-player campaign of the dark comedy game "Terran Invasion" combines elements of turn-based combat and stealth. You, the player, control an indigenous race of aliens defending their home from invading humans.
Galactoil, a laughably inefficient energy corporation, is obsessed with extracting energy from across the known universe and is willing to drill anything in its path to line its pockets with cash. However, their recent attack on the energy resources of planet X13 has left them in a somewhat difficult situation. The swarmers, the planet's native insectoid inhabitants, have other plans – to devour all of the corporation's workers! You control Swarmers—aggressive insectoid creatures who must convert human flesh into alien muscle tissue, upgrade their units, and even find time to ruin a birthday party.
To stop the invasion, the Swarmers must carefully plan their attacks. Take control of unsuspecting workers, set traps, leap out of vents and hiding places to catch your victims off guard, and attack in groups to kill multiple enemies at once.
The more humans you kill, the more corpses you can consume and transform into new units with special roles and unique abilities. Employee flesh is a key ingredient in the alien rebellion against Galactoil. Voice actor and Vine creator extraordinaire ShengWen Cho, aka ProZA (A Hat in Time, Paradigm), lends his incredible voice to X13's regional mining operations manager, Dennis Dickinham—a man who earns an unreasonably high salary for an unreasonably low skill level. A gregarious guy who finds joy in anything, whether it's a simple game of golf with the guys or rerouting power from the infirmary to the massage chairs in the boardroom, Dickinham never loses heart! But never, EVER utter the words "bad idea" in his presence.
The game also features an original soundtrack composed by Mikolaj Stroinski (Vanishing of Ethan Carter, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, Blood & Wine).
