About this game:
Eternal Threads is a first-person, story-driven puzzle game about time manipulation, choice, and consequences. As an operative tasked with repairing a breach in the timestream, you're sent to northern England in May 2015, where six people died in a house fire. You can't simply put out the fire; instead, you must influence the choices the residents made in the week leading up to the fire to ensure their survival. From the start, you have full access to the seven days leading up to the fire. You can view and edit significant events from the entire week as many times as you like, and in any order. Some decisions will have only a minor impact on the timeline, such as moving objects around the house or uncovering previously unknown circumstances and secrets. However, major changes will rewrite the timeline and alter existing events, adding new circumstances and even completely replacing some events with others. You must navigate the timeline, changing events at various points throughout the week so that their interactions result in the survival of all six residents. However, it's not just about changing the decisions of all the residents. Each of them can be saved from the fire in several ways, and each method has a profound impact on their future lives. Will you seek the quickest and easiest solution or strive to change the fate of each resident for the better? Ultimately, it all comes down to choices and their consequences. Features: You influence the game's plot. The story unfolds around six main characters, who can make various decisions, creating multiple timelines. And you control their choices. You can follow the storyline of one specific character, changing their decisions along the timeline, and then return to the beginning and focus on another character. You can approach the story like an investigator: see the end result, and then work backwards along the timeline to determine the cause of the events. Or you can simply observe the events chronologically, following how the timeline unfolds and changing the characters' decisions throughout the week. Observe events and change them as much as you want. Forgot what happened earlier? Changed a decision and aren't sure you like the consequences? Good. Simply go back along the timeline and change whatever you want, whenever you want, as many times as you want. Change the past to influence the future. By setting up a temporary base in the house just hours after the fire, you get a unique perspective on what happened. As you rewind through the timeline, past events play out before you in a ghostly form, and the house, damaged by smoke and fire, is a constant reminder of what's to come. As you manipulate the past, the environment around you shifts to reflect the changes taking place. New objects appear, others move around the house, and the contents of the rooms change significantly as you rework the past.
