Inspired by Victorian-era science fiction, as depicted in the works of H.G. Wells and Jules Verne, Ironcast is set in a fascinating alternate universe. Set in an era where refined men and women in tall hats and bonnets pilot gigantic walking war machines, tearing the enemies of the British Empire to shreds, Ironcast takes control of a 7-meter-tall walking machine and battles advancing enemy Ironcasts to defend 1880s Victorian Britain.
Battles are fought by constructing resource nodes, which power the Ironcast's weapons and various systems. You must choose wisely how to spend these nodes—on offense to destroy your opponents, or on defense to protect yourself from the expected enemy fire.
