Patapon 1+2 Replay is a collection of reissues of the first two parts of the rhythm action game Patapon, released in 2025. In it, the player assumes the role of a deity who commands an army of Patapons — cute creatures that look like eyes with legs and weapons. Control is carried out through rhythm: using combinations of strokes on four virtual reels ("pata", "pon", "chakka" and "don"), the player gives orders to the squad to move, attack, defend, etc.

Some features:

Classes of Patapons. The army has different types of units with unique characteristics and roles. For example, the Hatapons lead a squad into battle with a flag, the Tatepons protect their allies with shields, and the Yumipons shoot with bows.

Pumping and development. As you progress, the player collects resources and items that allow you to strengthen existing warriors or summon more powerful types of soldiers. In the second part, there is an evolution tree, new classes and a convenient menu for leveling up.

Plot. In the first part, the Patapon tribe searches for the mysterious object "It", in the second, after a shipwreck, it continues its journey to the Edge of the World, encounters the Carmen tribe and the demon Dettankarmen. The plot is not an end in itself, the focus is on the gameplay.

New features in the reissue. You can choose the difficulty level (easy, normal, difficult), adjust the response time, and enable constant display of the reels' icons on the screen.
