In 1998, a special forces team is sent to investigate strange murders near Raccoon City. Attacked by a pack of bloodthirsty mutant dogs, the team attempts to escape to a nearby estate. But even there, the stench of death permeates everything. Ammunition is low, and the fight for survival is difficult.

Graphics
The graphics have become more detailed while maintaining the original horror.
Thanks to improved resolution and dynamic 3D models, the scenery is now filled with detail.
To add even more realism, halos around light sources and other visual effects that were unused at the time of the game's initial release have been added. High-resolution scenery — backgrounds have been redesigned, combining high-quality still images with animated 3D models.

Widescreen Format
Widescreen format (16:9) is supported, allowing for an even more immersive experience.
This format allows the image to scroll. Portions of the screen that extend beyond the top and bottom edges of the screen automatically move into view as the character moves.
The screen format can be selected at any time during the game.

Sound and Controls
Improved sound — the soundtrack has been updated, the sampling rate has been increased, and five-channel surround sound is now supported.
New Controls
You can use traditional controls or a new version where the character moves in the direction the joystick is tilted.
The control type can be switched at any time during the game.
