ABOUT THE GAME

Tails Noir is a narrative adventure about personal transformation in the post-noir genre. Take on the role of a raccoon private detective named Howard Lotor and explore Vancouver, a city teeming with animals.
Tails Noir is inspired by film noir, weird science fiction, post-Soviet aesthetics, contemporary political regimes, the works of Lynch and Kaufman, and the existential philosophy of Sartre. It's a linear narrative story that pushes the boundaries of genre and challenges our understanding of what it means to be human.
GAMEPLAY

Tails Noir's gameplay combines an emotionally evoking narrative with complex, branching dialogue in the spirit of classic CRPGs and free exploration of the game world. The end of all existence is inevitable, but which version of Howard Lotor will reach that end is up to you.

As Howard, you will:
Build relationships with deeply developed characters in search of the truth
Form your character and make dialogue choices – you determine who you will be
Explore the lush and abandoned neighborhoods of walled Vancouver
Come to terms with your own existence and the pain of loss
And, of course, be a true raccoon
