ABOUT THIS GAME
A tropical paradise teems with hidden evil in Far Cry®, a cunningly detailed action shooter that takes combat to a shocking new level.
Independent navigator Jack Carver curses the day he arrived on this island. A week ago, sassy reporter Valerie offered him an incredible amount of money to take her to this untouched paradise. However, shortly after arriving, Jack's ship was attacked by a mysterious militia whose members are swarming all over the island.
His boat has been destroyed, his money has been taken, the beautiful Valerie is suddenly missing, and Jack himself finds himself facing an army of mercenaries in the wilds of the island, with nothing but a gun and a wit to keep him alive. But the further he makes his way into the dense jungle, the more strange things happen around him.
Jack meets a member of a militia group who reveals gruesome details of the mercenaries' true intentions. He puts Jack in front of a difficult choice: fight deadly mercenaries or sentence the human race to the maniac's insidious plan.
