Gothic 1
The kingdom of Myrtana is in a terrible war. Hordes of orcs have invaded the lands of the people, and the king needs a lot of magical ore, from which excellent weapons are made. If a person committed even a minor crime, he was immediately sent to extract ore on the island of Khorinis.
The whole area, called the "Colony", was surrounded by a two kilometer magic barrier so that the prisoners could not escape. Anyone can enter the territory of the barrier, but no one can return. The barrier was completely isolated from the outside world. The prisoners took advantage of this and revolted. The colony began to be ruled by three militant camps. The king was forced to begin negotiations with the prisoners for the supply of magic ore on any terms.
You have been thrown into this prison. You must decide for yourself which side you will be on and find a way to leave the barrier.

Gothic II: Gold Edition
Gothic II: Gold Edition includes the original Gothic II and the official Night of the Raven expansion pack!
You destroyed the magical barrier and freed the prisoners of the Valley of Mines. The former prisoners who escaped to freedom began to terrorize the vicinity of the city of Khorinis. The city militia is too weak to fight criminals outside the city. But the worst thing is that rumors began to circulate about the return of the mythical dragons.

Gothic 3
You saved the island of Khorinis from the forces of evil in Gothic I and Gothic II. Now is the time to travel to the kingdoms of the mainland. The invading Orcs have enslaved the human realm. There are only a few free people in the icy North and Southern Desert, and a handful of rebels lurking in the forests and mountains of Midland.
You can either join the rebellion or serve the Orc Invaders, but ultimately you will tip the scales and decide the final war to save Humanity!
There is no simple storyline in Gothic III - each game will be different and unique - but everything will ultimately lead to you deciding the fate of Myrtana.
