Steel Division: Normandy 44 is a Real Time Tactical Strategy (RTS) game developed by Eugen Systems, the creator of the Wargame series and R.U.S.E. This new game puts you in command of detailed and historically accurate tanks, infantry troops and other military equipment on the battlefields of the Second World War. Players can measure their tactical talents against other players in massive multiplayer battles or face off against an AI opponent in a challenging single-player campaign.
Steel Division: Normandy 44 brings command of legendary combat units from six different countries, including the US 101st Airborne Division, the German 12th Panzer Division, and the 3rd Canadian Division during the 1944 Allied Landing in Normandy.

Using the latest version of the Eugen IRISZOOM engine, players can smoothly scale the surrounding terrain from a bird's eye view to approaching an individual soldier and admire each of the carefully traced and historically accurately reproduced 400 units. The maps are based on archival aerial photography of Normandy in 1944, so players' strategic and tactical decisions should reflect the real-world environment.
