Rising Storm 2: Vietnam continues the streak that won PC Gamer's Multiplayer Game of the Year twice. The game takes the franchise into the era of automatic rifles, man-portable grenade launchers and more modern weapons systems, while maintaining the series' hallmarks of historicity and realistic weapon use.

The Tripwire studio traditionally provides full support for released products, which is why the game "Vietnam" has been updated several times, giving players new opportunities:

Rising Storm 2: Vietnam is an intense battle (max 64 players) between the troops of the South (South Vietnam, the United States and their allies) and the North (regular units of the Vietnamese People's Army and guerrillas of the National Liberation Front - Viet Cong).

The maneuverability and stealth of the forces of the South allows you to counter the mobility of the enemy:
VNA and VC squad leaders can place respawn tunnels at various locations on the map, allowing soldiers to respawn closer to the battlefield - and even behind the front lines.
"Home advantage" allows the soldiers of the VNA and VC to become invisible to enemy helicopters and aircraft - just lie down or sit down.
A skilled platoon commander, by choosing the right time, can promptly respond to the actions of the South in the air - by calling SA-2 ground-to-air missiles.
The Ho Chi Minh Trail ability allows the platoon leader of the VNA (VK) to speed up the respawn of soldiers when every second counts.
The Ambush Respawn ability allows VNA (VK) platoon leaders to respawn dead soldiers in their vicinity, thus setting up a powerful ambush.

The troops of the North use a variety of weapons. The VNA is equipped with modern weapons supplied from Russia and China, while the Viet Cong has to work with a wide variety of weapons:
AK-47 and Type 56 assault rifles,
Soviet self-loading Simonov carbines, US M1 carbines and Mosin 91/30 rifle,
sniper rifles Mosin 91/30 and SVD,
submachine guns PPSh-41 and French MAT-49,
