The chapter Sadako Rising ("Sadako Risen") includes a new assassin, Onryō, and a new survivor, Yōichi Asakawa. Purchasing the add-on also grants access to an exclusive amulet, the Cursed Cassette.
The killer is Sadako, an onryō. The powerful strength and terrible temperament of Sadako led the girl to a watery grave, where she was left to die. Brutal fury embodied in a cursed video cassette, dooming those who view it to a terrible fate.
Yoichi Asakawa is well acquainted with Sadako's rage. In his youth, he had already encountered an onryo whose wrath changed his life. As a result, the young man became a marine biologist, but the search for answers led him to dangerous places far beyond rational perception.
