Borderlands 3 is getting even bigger with the Director's Cut add-on: a new raid boss, story quests, materials about the creation of the game, as well as three sets of themed items appear in the game.

Fight the most terrifying varkid. Her name was previously mentioned only in the most terrible legends; but now Hemovorosa the Unbreakable has awakened. In the Director's Cut, Vault Hunters will investigate a series of crimes across the galaxy, earn loot with three new Vault Maps, and players will get a lot of new insight into the making of Borderlands 3. You will be able to see how Borderlands 3 began, see funny moments on tape, cut footage, and enjoy videos about the making of the game. And that’s not all! We’ve curated a library of concept art, storyboards, lost maps, and cinematics from Borderlands 3, documenting the state of the game throughout its development.

The Director’s Cut also includes three new Vault Cards, which you can use to unlock three loot sets, each with their own distinct theme. As these Vault Cards are released, you’ll be able to activate them and level them up to earn an incredible amount of cosmetics and powerful gear. The first Vault Card will be released alongside the Director’s Cut, featuring items themed after deceased heroes of the series. Once you have multiple Vault Cards, you’ll have to choose which one you want to level up at any given time.

This content is included in Borderlands 3 Season Pass 2. Requires the game to play. The first of the three Vault Cards included in the Director’s Cut is available now, with the remaining two coming later in 2021.
