DLC PMDG DC-6 for MSFS

PMDG's debut product for Microsoft Flight Simulator, the amazing new flight simulation engine created by Microsoft and Asobo Studios, is finally available. The PMDG Douglas DC-6 has been built from the ground up to take advantage of the enormous benefits of this new simulation platform and bring the magical DC-6 to life like never before.
Using PMDG's award-winning, cutting-edge modeling technology, we've combined entirely new cockpit and aircraft models, created entirely new technology features, and combined them into a new, fully featured sound environment unlike anything ever created for a PMDG product.
Immerse yourself in a cockpit so detailed you can almost smell the leather and the texture of the surfaces under your fingertips. Every surface is modeled down to the smallest detail, right down to the dust, scratches on the paint surface, wear marks on frequently touched surfaces, and the thousands upon thousands of other small details that bring the simulation to life. While no detail has been overlooked in the design and depth of the simulation, the PMDG development team has worked hard to ensure that even novice sim pilots will be able to enjoy flying this magnificent piece of flight history, as we have included a virtual crew feature to help operate the aircraft with ease. Their help is just a click away in the form of our automated flight engineer, who will run your checklists, perform system checks, adjust the aircraft’s systems, and manage engine power settings while you focus on flying the aircraft or simply enjoying the view. Once you have learned the aircraft and are comfortable taking on tasks, your flight engineer will happily hand over tasks to you, and you will be able to fly the aircraft completely independently, using every switch, knob, lever, and circuit breaker found in a real DC-6. We have included a specially written manual that includes all the graphs and performance tables to help you manage every phase of the flight in complete realism, if that is your choice. When you're ready to really go full realism, you can tweak the PMDG DC-6's realism parameters to simulate the intricacies of power management through fuel and mixture management, oil pressure, cylinder head temperature, proper combustion, supercharger operation, dynamic carburetor icing simulation, and hundreds of additional parameters, using realistic procedures to avoid damage to engine cylinders, pistons, rings, connecting rods, and critical main bearings.
