A decade has passed since the events of the first game, and the face of EDN III has changed dramatically. Terraforming efforts were successful, and the ice began to melt, giving way to lush tropical jungles and harsh, unforgiving deserts. Humanity has entered into a civil war to take control of the precious thermal energy powering the weapons and vehicles on EDN III, leading to the division into various factions.
Players will control the heroes of each faction in 6 interconnected episodes, viewing the war from each perspective, creating a truly unique interactive experience. With this concept, players will have the opportunity to participate in the story in a much more dynamic way as the story threads develop from different players' perspectives.
