Tannenberg is the latest game in the series of games about the First World War of 1914-1918, which began with the first-person shooter WW1 Verdun. The war on the border of the Russian Empire offers new experiences for both beginners and experienced players: new squads and weapons, open maps that give players tactical freedom, and a completely new game mode for 64 players!
Set across the lakes, forests and snowy plains of the Eastern Front, this historical game is inspired by the 1914 Battle of Tannenberg, one of the most iconic encirclement battles in history. Players will be able to master a range of brand new equipment provided by Russian frontline soldiers and Cossacks, or join the Central Powers and serve in the Austro-Hungarian K.u.K. or German infantry. Tannenberg features a range of game modes, including the exciting new Maneuver mode, which reflects the unique nature of war on the Eastern Front: 64 players battle across vast maps where objectives and front lines are constantly changing. The game is packed with historical detail, including realistic WWI weapons, authentic uniforms, horrific scenes of carnage and maps based on real battlefields, this time in the forests, plains and mountains along the border of the Russian Empire with the Central Powers.
