Help a mysterious artist uncover his mysterious past and unleash your creativity in the art of shield painting. Henry encounters a quirky artist who draws him into a web of his twisted plans, and our hero will have to use all his abilities to find solutions.

In a series of quests spanning both maps of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Henry must seek out, persuade (and sometimes kill) familiar and completely new characters—all in the name of helping his new friend complete his life's masterpiece. Find answers to the questions surrounding this mysterious character. Who—or what—is he? Why does he know so much? And why does he carry a painted human skull?

In addition to the new quests, Henry will also receive new shield variants for his work—over 100 unique designs and color combinations to choose from.

Brushes with Death is the first expansion for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, and is included in the Season Pass and Gold Edition.
