Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance is a real-time strategy game based on the Terminator: Dark Fate universe, which tells the story of the war between humanity and the Legion, a networked artificial intelligence.

In the single-player campaign, you take on the role of one of the commanders of the Founders, an organization made up of the remnants of the US military, and lead your army in an attempt to stop the Legion's plan to destroy the last remnants of humanity. In skirmish and multiplayer modes, play as three completely different factions: Founders, Movement and Legion.

Take control of an army as it moves from mission to mission across a series of large tactical maps. Make decisions about the choice of units, their combat tactics and the use of abilities in order not only to survive, but also to become the leader of the resistance. Hone your skills and military prowess by experimenting and achieving the best results.

Dynamic battles: realistic tactics and consequences of choice

Participate in long-lasting and dynamically changing realistic battles, where your survival and the possibility of achieving victory depend only on your tactical decisions. Use a wide range of military equipment, vehicles and ammunition in your battles with the enemy. Recruit and train new units, train new skills and acquire new weapons and equipment to continue the resistance.

Feel the tension of the battles. Your tactics and choices on the battlefield have profound consequences that will affect the entire campaign: other factions and characters will either join you or become your enemies, and certain missions will be available or unavailable depending on your actions.

Your resources are limited and you must take care of your army. Your vehicles take damage based on a modular damage system where armor characteristics, component failures, and hull design affect whether your unit survives.
