Three hundred years before the events of the first game, the world of Antaloor was divided in two, and a true divine war shattered its peaceful existence. The god of war, Aziraal, set his sights on world power. The rest of the pantheon then gathered all their forces and fought back. After several years of bloody conflict, Aziraal fell. Peace reigned in Antaloor. Three centuries later, the protagonist learns that he is the last descendant of the great warriors of antiquity. Only he can open the tomb of the great and terrible god of war. However, the tomb's contents must not fall into the wrong hands, otherwise the peace of the world will be shattered once again.
Five years have passed since that very expedition to Aziraal's tomb. The dark mage Gandohar has seized power in Antaloor. To achieve complete omnipotence, Gandohar needs something more than power over people. This something is hidden in the body of the sister of the protagonist of Two Worlds II. This terrible power, the power of an ancient deity, must not fall into Gandohar's hands—and he will do everything in his power to obtain it. You must restore rightful authority in Antaloor and prevent your sister from falling into the clutches of the tyrant. However, in this world of lies and deceit, not everyone can be trusted.
