In the new single-player campaign, you will leave familiar Europe and lead the Saracen army. Change the course of history and help Saladin defend his desert homeland from the Crusaders. Command unique Saracen units in 5 story missions, as well as 3 maps for online play and Skirmish mode.

The "Saladin's Crusade" campaign tells the story of how the great Sultan of Egypt and Syria, Saladin, founder of the Ayyubid dynasty, assembled the largest army of his life in 1187 and crossed the border of the Kingdom of Jerusalem. Join him and his outstanding generals, Kukburi and Abdullah, and you will have the opportunity to defeat enemy forces at the Horns of Hattin, capture the most important fortresses of the Levant, and take part in the siege of Jerusalem.

• New troop types:
- Assassins - a melee unit of five warriors. Their unique "Camouflage" ability allows them to get close to enemies while remaining invisible. Assassins can also set explosive traps that detonate 10 seconds after being set. Keep in mind that the explosion of such a trap damages both troops and buildings, regardless of their allegiance.
- Demolitionists - a ranged unit of four warriors armed with explosive rockets, which are extremely effective against buildings and large groups of enemies. On the other hand, Demolitionists are very vulnerable in close combat...
- Scorpion - the Saracen equivalent of the ballista, differing in both appearance and characteristics.
