The Arma 3 Apex expansion is a large‑scale expansion for the tactical simulator that adds a whole range of new content to the game.
What exactly is being unlocked. A new map. You will travel to the Tanoa archipelago in the southern part of the Pacific Ocean (an area of about 100 km²). The locations are very diverse: tropical forests, a volcano, slums, a sugar mill, and an industrial port. This geography is well suited for a wide variety of scenarios — from large‑scale offensives to covert operations in the jungle. New factions. The game will feature several factions with different personalities and equipment:
NATO and CSAT — regular forces that are being deployed to Tanoa. Their fighters are equipped with modern weapons (the SPAR-16 modular assault rifle, the Chinese CAR-95, the CMR-76 and SPAR-17 sniper rifles) and gear (thermal camouflage uniforms, helmets, backpacks, night‑vision goggles, ERCO optics).
The Syndicate — a local criminal organization (armed bandits and former military personnel). Their arsenal is more “classic”: AKS‑74U, AKM, and AK‑12 assault rifles.
