Ashen is an open-world co-op action RPG about a wanderer searching for a place to call home.

A multiplayer game with passive cooperation
As you wander the vast open world of Ashen, you'll occasionally encounter other players—much like in the passive multiplayer game Journey. It's up to you to decide how to act—fight evil together, invite them to your group, or simply pass by.

Like Souls, but with a twist
Ashen uses a stamina-based combat system (in the style of Dark Souls) and offers players the vast expanses of a harsh yet inviting world. However, it has its own unique feature: constantly changing gameplay. Whether it's uncharted swamps, uncharted fjords, or searching for loot in an ancient palace, the course of events can change dramatically at any moment depending on where you are. It's a brutal open world, and you're just living it.
