Beholder is a dystopian simulator in which the player is given the opportunity to feel like a resident of a totalitarian state. The main character manages a multi-storey building and does not simply monitor the comfort of the residents, he spies on them by order of the government. In this gloomy totalitarian future, the lives of people belong to the State. Repressive laws and total surveillance came to replace freedom, equality and fraternity. You are the manager of an apartment building. But renting out apartments and caring for lodgers is just a screen hiding your true goals. Your TASK is to install hidden video cameras, wiretapping and surveillance, secret apartment searches and the collection of compromising materials. Your GOAL is to prevent illegal activities and identify unreliable citizens. Your DUTY is to report all violations found!

• But there is always a CHOICE ... You are the manager of an apartment building. But renting out apartments and caring for lodgers is just a screen hiding your true goals.
• You spy for the tenants! Your TASK is to install hidden video cameras, wiretapping and surveillance, secret apartment searches and the collection of compromising materials. Your GOAL is to prevent illegal activities and identify unreliable citizens. Your DUTY is to report all violations found!
• How do you handle this power? Do you turn into a soulless weapon in the hands of a totalitarian machine? Or will you remain a person capable of empathy and compassion? Send a denunciation of the head of the family and destroy the family? Or allow him to correct, closing his eyes to illegal activities? Or decide to blackmail - perhaps the only way to buy expensive drugs for a sick daughter? And if they follow you too?

Activation

1. You need to download and install Steam http://steampowered.com/download/SteamInstall.msi (if not already installed)
2. Start the Steam client
3. Create a new account on Steam or go to an existing one
4. Go to the "Games" section and select "Activate on Steam"
