Chaos on Deponia (translated as "Deponia 2: Explosive Adventure") is the second installment in the Deponia game series. It was released on November 6, 2012.
Developed by the German studio Daedalic Entertainment, the game continues the story of the planet Deponia, a junkyard planet, where the protagonist, Rufus, attempts to reach Elysium, a floating city for the elite. In the first game in the series, simply titled Deponia, Rufus met the Elysian Goal, setting the stage for his adventures.
Chaos on Deponia is a direct continuation of the first game's plot. The game immediately throws the player into the thick of the action, with only brief recaps of previous episodes. To fully understand the plot and context, it's recommended to play through the first game first.
