Dead by Daylight is a 4v1 multiplayer horror game where one player takes on the role of a brutal Killer and four other players are Survivors trying to escape the killer.

Survivors play in third person and have the advantage of situational awareness. The killer plays in first person and is more focused on his prey.

The goal of the Survivors in each game is to try not to get caught by the Killer and escape from the murder scene - which sounds easier than it really is, especially when the setting changes in each game.
Main characteristics
• Survive together...or not. - Survivors can either cooperate with others or be selfish. Your chance of survival will differ depending on whether you work together as a team or go solo. Can you outsmart the Killer and escape the murder scene?

• Where I am? - Each level is randomly generated so you never know what to expect. Your random spawn points mean you'll never feel safe, because the world and its dangers change with each game.

• A Killer's Holiday - Dead by Daylight features something from every corner of the horror world. In the role of the Killer, you can play anyone, from a powerful butcher to creepy paranormal entities. Get to know your kill scene and hone the unique skills of each Assassin to be able to hunt, capture and sacrifice your prey.

• Deeper and deeper - Each Killer and Survivor has their own deep progression system and many items to unlock that can be customized to suit your own strategy. Experience, skill and understanding of the environment are key elements in order to hunt or outsmart the Assassin.

• Real people, real fear - Randomly generated levels are a real human reaction to pure horror, creating every game session with an unexpected scenario. You can never tell what will happen. Atmosphere, music and cool environment combine into a terrifying experience. With enough time, you might even be able to discover what's lurking in the fog.
