Los Suenos — STATE OF EMERGENCY: The chief of the Los Suenos Police Department, Galo Alvarez, urgently goes on the air with a message about the state of the city after Hurricane Antonio. The unprecedented category 5 hurricane Antonio caused huge destruction and damage to the environment. Heavy winds and heavy rains affected most of the district. Patrol units have been brought to a state of readiness, equipped with checkpoints. Fire and rescue medical triage centers are open on the territory of large hospitals whenever possible. Temporary shelters for the homeless are located outside the affected areas and on the slopes of the Sierra del Suenos. Looting cases have become more frequent, and LSPD special forces have been deployed as part of the disaster response.
Areas with confirmed cases of looting and public unrest:
GREENSIDE — the enormous consequences of the hurricane. Many homeless people are seeking shelter because it is not safe on the streets. Barricade the windows and doors. Use extreme caution when contacting unknown people on private property.
PARK 213 — severe effects of the hurricane. A surge in the activity of criminal gangs has been confirmed, and the chance of violence related to their activities is extremely high. Do not show any connection with them and avoid crowds on the streets. Stay indoors, stay away from windows and broken objects.
REDWOOD — moderate effects of the hurricane. There is an organized movement of possible looters in the region. Lock the gates and fences, and hide valuables. Keep generators in secluded but well-ventilated areas. Take all anti-theft measures. Personal safety should be your priority. Be careful and report any suspicious activity to the police.
