is a tactical sci—fi role-playing game set in the alternate 70s. Fight, explore hostile wastelands, level up your character and join one of the warring factions in a ruined world cut off from civilization.
Join one of the five branches of the CRONUS Corporation — each with its own characteristics, mechanics and game features — and embark on a one-way journey under the Dome in search of unique artifacts, avoiding radiation, anomalies and many hostile creatures.
You'll start out as an ordinary employee of a corporation, but over time you'll become the driving force behind the narrative that takes place before, during, and after the disaster known as the "Incident."
Crafting, fights, negotiations — you'll need all your wits if you hope to survive.
After completing the training, you will enter an open world full of riches and dangers. The old ways are a thing of the past — they were pulverized by a powerful Whirlwind, and six powerful factions rose from the ashes of the past, fighting for control of the wastelands under the Dome. Will they become allies or enemies? It's up to you.
Not everyone under the Dome will become your friend, rather the opposite. If you're a smart, likeable character (with high charisma), then maybe you'll be able to get out. The rest will have to resort to ultranationalism. And that means guns, lots of guns. We have more than enough of it: from a high-tech laser to a powerful right hook, there are many ways to eliminate arrogant opponents. Or you can be a pacifist and use non-lethal weapons, but that's a completely different story...
a hostile and merciless world leads to loneliness, so why not team up with like-minded people and overcome difficulties together? From hardened criminals to scientists with dubious backgrounds. The game has a variety of interesting teammates, each with their own unique personality and skills.
You can choose the path of the "lone wolf" and travel alone; it may not be easy, but the choice is yours.
Encased is full of choices: which character will you be, which wing will you join, and how noble are you? What kind of equipment will you take? How will you fight? Create better weapons or impenetrable armor?
And this is just the beginning. The fate of many people depends on you. Who will survive and who will die in your passage?
Each of your decisions affects the game situations and the plot. No one said it was easy to survive the apocalypse...
