is a fantasy strategy game where you control diverse factions building majestic empires and waging global wars in a changing oceanic world on the verge of destruction. Disasters have disrupted the natural balance, and the landscape is changing over time, opening up new territories for the brave to explore and conquer. Develop cities to spread your influence and strengthen the economy. Assemble armies and command troops in turn-based tactical battles to defeat enemies by force. Explore the bowels of the planet to uncover the dark secrets of its core.
MANAGE DIFFERENT FACTIONS
ENDLESS Legend 2 features a wide variety of factions, and each one — whether it's righteous star warriors, cursed knights seeking escape from their fate, or creatures with a hive mind capable only of fighting, eating, and reproducing — has its own philosophy, history, opportunities, and path of development. The unique features of each faction set it apart from others on the battlefield, in trade, in empire building, and in diplomacy. You will have to adapt to their strengths and weaknesses, develop strategies and create your own unique style of play.
The choice of faction affects all aspects of the game. Will you live in a constant state of war without needing to justify your attacks, spawning new warriors with each victory and constantly increasing your strength? Or will you choose the path of coexistence and cooperation, spreading tentacles of influence around the world, creating a network of allies and using connections with small factions to increase the wealth of your empire? Or maybe you will lead a nation that feeds on its own kind, using a unique economy that is free from the needs of ordinary mortals? Find out what makes each faction unique, and use these features to your advantage — whether it's leading it to greatness or striving to destroy it.
The military doctrines of the factions vary greatly, providing a capable commander with unique opportunities to gain an advantage over the enemy, even off the battlefield. The Sheredin Clan builds massive fortifications to protect cities and develops powerful orbital weapons and support systems. Empathic Aspects spread corals to support themselves outside of friendly territory. And Necrophage hives are dotted with nests and burrows, allowing you to quickly move across vast spaces and ambush enemies from underground.
You can choose to automatically resolve the battle or take direct control of individual units of your army, using the terrain to your advantage — control of key points, shelters and hills will give you an advantage. Each faction has not only special units, characteristics, weapons and attributes, but also unique combat abilities that, if used correctly, can change the course of a battle. One faction is better suited to a patient commander who carefully maneuvers his troops to get powerful neighborhood bonuses, while the other relies on numbers and overwhelming force.
Hire heroes and watch them grow over time, acquiring new traits that enhance their abilities. Form relationships that bring them various bonuses and equip them with equipment that is useful both in and out of combat. Strong commanders, properly trained and equipped, are capable of turning the tide of entire wars.
DOMINATE THE CHANGING WORLD
Empires will flourish and fall depending on their ability to adapt to a changing world. Starting from one small town, expand your holdings, taking into account the unique advantages and limitations of your faction and adapting to the periodic monsoon and low tide. Create new neighborhoods around the city center, use strategic and luxurious resources, and develop technology and industry.
Catastrophic tides will open up new opportunities and threats, exposing lands ready for colonization. Although your existing territories will remain untouchable, the new expanses of the former seabed open up new footholds for you and your enemies, new sources of resources to develop and anomalies to explore. These changes can radically reshape the strategic map of the world. A wise ruler prepares for everything in advance, planning to develop new lands as soon as the water recedes or, on the contrary, strengthening defenses near future land areas.
Plan the development of your cities, focusing on population growth, industrialization, and trade, or prioritize science, imperial influence, and military might – the choice depends on the needs of your growing state. Create areas that provide opportunities for fortification or the production of a variety of resources, take advantage of the surrounding areas and terrain, and develop technologies to improve existing areas or open up new opportunities. What will you do – will you meticulously look for ideal locations for future economic centers and military fortifications, or will you begin rapid expansion to gain new lands and increase productivity ahead of your enemies?
The lands around you are full of both opportunities and dangers. Defeat weak small factions scattered around the world to seize their resources, or establish friendly relations so that they join your empire, strengthening it and adding unique units and heroes to the ranks. Explore ancient ruins and mysterious anomalies, overcoming unknown dangers to expand your domain and obtain powerful artifacts to defeat your enemies.
