The plot of Enslaved is based on the famous Chinese novel “Journey to the West”, written four centuries ago. Studio Ninja Theory moved the classic story into a post-apocalyptic future. After 150 years, the world will be destroyed by war and environmental disasters, and only a few will survive. A strong and fast fighter Monkey and a young female technician Trip were captured on one of the ships of slave owners who are looking for survivors and taken to where they are not returning from. The couple manage to escape, but Trip quickly realizes that she can return home only with the help of Monkey. She manages to deceive her companion and put a special device on him that binds them together - if she dies, death also awaits him. Thus begins their journey to the west in a ruined and dangerous world.
• Cinematography: popular Hollywood actor Andy Serkis (The Lord of the Rings and King Kong movies) acted as the director of the colorful storyline clips. From it, using Motion Capture technology, they copied movements for the main character Monkey.
