Gothic I

The kingdom of Myrtana is engulfed in a terrible war. Hordes of orcs have invaded human lands, and the king needs large quantities of magical ore to craft superior weapons. Anyone who committed even the slightest crime was immediately sent to mine ore on the island of Khorinis.

An entire area, called the "Colony," was surrounded by a two-kilometer-long magical barrier to prevent prisoners from escaping. Anyone could enter the barrier, but no one could leave. The barrier was completely isolated from the outside world. The prisoners took advantage of this and rebelled. Three warring camps came to rule the colony. The king was forced to negotiate with the prisoners for the supply of magic ore under any conditions.

You have been thrown into this prison. You must decide for yourself whose side you will be on and find a way to escape the barrier.
