Open the App Store app
Tap the sign-in button or your photo in the top right corner
Tap "Redeem Gift Card or Code". If you don't see this button, sign in to your Apple account
Tap "Enter Code Manually"
Enter the 16-digit code you received via email
Tap "Redeem"
After topping up, your current Apple balance will appear. Payments for new or existing subscriptions will be deducted from it.

Instructions for changing your account region:
Open Settings
Tap your name, then select Media & Purchases → View Account
Authenticate with Face ID or Touch ID
Tap Country/Region
(If you have active subscriptions, Apple will notify you that they need to be canceled)
If you have remaining funds in your Apple account, you must spend them or contact Apple Support at 8 800 555 6734 to write them off before changing region
Tap Change Country or Region
Select United States from the list
Review the Terms & Conditions
Tap Accept in the top right corner
Select a payment method
If you don't plan to make purchases, select None
Enter a billing address and tap Next
You can enter any US address and phone number. Apple does not send verification codes.
After completing these steps, your account region will be changed. You can change back to Russia at any time.
