IN KILLING FLOOR 2, players descend on mainland Europe, where an outbreak caused by a failed Horzine Biotech experiment has spread rapidly and gained unstoppable momentum, essentially paralyzing the European Union. Just a month after the events in the original KILLING FLOOR concluded, clones of samples are everywhere and civilization is in disarray; communications failed, governments collapsed, and military forces were systematically destroyed. The people of Europe know survival and self-preservation all too well, and the happy survivors have gone underground.
Not everyone gave up hope, though... A group of civilians and mercenaries came together, paid for by Horzin, to fight the outbreak and set up private operating bases across Europe. After tracking outbreaks of sample clones, players descend into hot zones loaded with zids and destroy them.
Features
Visceral Gore - KILLING FLOOR 2 rises with a patented powerful constant blood system, bringing new levels of fidelity to the genre. Players send insides, severed limbs, and blood flying along the way through hordes of enemies. But they need to watch out! If caught, enemies will tear them out and their entire side limb from limb
6 player co-op or solo game - A variety of playable characters await for players to choose from as they engage in online co-op or solo mode for those who are willing to brave terrible samples alone.
Terrifying Zeds - New enemies and fan favorites from the original game return with advanced and smarter artificial intelligence, highlighting powerful attacks, attacking in mobs to weaken the player's party, and pushing the challenge level and fear factor to new levels.
New Takeon "Difficulty" - Most games simply build up health and damage to enemies. In KF2, Zeds will start behaving differently as you work through difficulty levels. The new attack is moving. New ways to get to you. New strategies. Be prepared for surprises!
Unique Blend Of Weaponry - Modern military assault rifles, brutal improvised weapons, classic historical weapons and "Mad Scientist" weapons from the wall, KILLING FLOOR 2 has a unique blend of killing tools that will satisfy any gamer.
Extended Perk system - Perks from the original game were reimagined with more added to the crease. All perks now progress with meaningful talent choices that reinforce different styles of play, giving players a progression path that is extensive and full of useful stages.
Brutal Melee Combat - KILLING FLOOR 2 completely invents hand-to-hand combat. Players now have control over the type of melee attacks they can perform, allowing them to deliver bone-destroying attacks to Zeds.
SDK - as always with our games, mapping tools and more! Thanks to early access, this will allow you to create new levels. Full SDK support will be implemented during the early access period.
