KOMPAS-3D v25 Home is a modeling system designed for creating 3D models and engineering drawings. It is suitable for both educational purposes and creative projects.

KOMPAS-3D Home is the non-commercial version of the KOMPAS-3D system. It is intended for personal, non-commercial use on your home computer. Its functionality allows it to be applied across various fields of activity. It can be effectively used for homework, coursework, thesis projects, and other academic assignments, as well as for creating documents for personal, non-commercial use.

KOMPAS-3D Home is developed specifically for the Microsoft Windows operating system, fully leveraging its capabilities and advantages to ensure maximum efficiency and ease of use. The system supports document files created in the professional version of KOMPAS-3D. However, a special license is required to open documents created in KOMPAS-3D Home within the professional version of the system.

Key components of KOMPAS-3D Home:

3D modeling system. Designed for creating associative 3D models of individual parts and assemblies. Parametric technology enables the rapid generation of models for standard products based on a single initial prototype design.
Drafting and graphics editor (KOMPAS-Graphic). Designed to automate design and engineering tasks.
Bill of Materials (BOM) module. This module allows for the generation of various bills of materials, schedules, and other tabular documents. When used in conjunction with the 3D modeling system and/or the drafting editor, it enables the creation of bills of materials that are associatively linked to assembly drawings and 3D assembly models.
Text editor. Designed for creating various types of text-based documentation. Supports both standard and custom document formatting.

In addition to the core components mentioned above, KOMPAS-3D Home includes applications that automate specific tasks—such as calculations—as well as various aspects of the design process, such as modeling mechanical transmissions, designing piping systems, and more.

A wide range of applications tailored for mechanical engineering and instrument manufacturing is included with KOMPAS-3D Home and installed alongside the main software.
