It's similar to Tower Defense, but instead of building towers, you deploy dynamic units that come to life and automatically move, attack, and cast spells. Defend your lane from waves of enemies and hire mercenaries for attacks. To win, you must defeat the enemy king before they defeat yours. A match lasts about 25 minutes.
Legion TD 2 is a standalone sequel to the incredibly popular Warcraft III mod Legion TD, which inspired the creation of Squadron TD for StarCraft II and Legion TD: Reborn for Dota 2. Legion TD 2 was developed by the same team that created the original mod.
Legion TD 2 was created independently by two best friends: Brent "Lisk" Batas and Julian "Jules" Gary. Lisk and Jules have been best friends for over 20 years, and have been playing and developing games together since childhood.
