About the game:

A challenging medieval market economy and city-building simulator awaits you. The royal family has entrusted you with the development of new lands, and now it's your duty to extract maximum profit from them for the state, for yourself, and, if you wish, even for the residents of the settlement! You will have to distribute land, build houses, determine tax policy, set priorities, and expand the supply system to provide the growing population with everything they need.
In Lords and Villeins, the family is the fundamental unit of society. A family's profession determines its occupation and place in the economy. Grant them a plot of land, build a house, and the family will independently develop their farm and business, manage their goods, set aside a portion for taxes, and trade with caravans and other families to earn money and replenish supplies.

Your task is to regulate and develop the economy. Maintain the balance of supply and demand, provide residents with the necessary resources, and maintain stable profit growth. Lords and Villeins offers a complex simulation sandbox with a wide range of development strategies – from a communist economy, where all production is collected from producers and redistributed from your warehouse, to a free market economy, where you have little control.
Show off your logistics skills. As your settlement grows, you'll need to consider distances, storage locations, private markets, and residential buildings when further distributing land and natural resources to maximize the productivity of all your residents.
Fine-tuned gameplay will ensure you get the most out of the game! A wide variety of game modules and difficulty settings allow you to focus on the aspects of the game that interest you most. Although Lords and Villeins is primarily an economic simulator, and military conflicts play a secondary role, you'll still have plenty of other activities available!
Features:

Unique family management mechanics: distribute land among families and manage local tax policies, production priorities, and logistics. In-depth market economy and personal property development mechanics: settlement residents operate shops, allowing them to sell surplus goods and purchase food and materials from each other as part of a cooperative production chain. Goods prices fluctuate based on supply and demand, and trade caravans facilitate import and export.
A fully simulated procedurally generated environment with advanced artificial intelligence capable of developing relationships among residents, monitoring their needs, daily activities, and personal aspirations.
Fine-tuned difficulty: it's up to you to decide how challenging or easy the game will be!
A campaign mode with 15 episodes allows players to familiarize themselves with the game's basic concepts and mechanics.
Develop diplomatic relations with noble houses, who will visit your settlement, request resources, and send you gifts.
Build a monastery, churches, and chapels where Sunday masses will be held. The monastery produces unique resources, and monks heal residents during epidemics. From among your residents, you can recruit personal servants or guards to maintain law and order in the settlement.
The character editor allows you to customize the appearance and name of each member of the ruling family.
Over 160 objects for building, decorating, and developing your settlement.
53 different zones and 40 professions for settlement residents.
Over 130 resource options for creating a production chain.
A large number of domestic and wild animals.
Visually distinct seasons with a unique soundtrack for each.
A simulated dynamic world with constantly changing weather effects and temperatures.
The creators of Lords and Villeins were inspired by medieval history, drawing on historical themes and taking into account the materials and production methods available at the time. However, the game is not a historically accurate reconstruction of medieval society and economy, as it deviates from historical reality in many ways for the sake of gameplay variety.
The game is priced on Steam at 880 rubles.
