🔰 Game Description:
Minecraft is an indie sandbox game with open-world survival elements. The game world is composed entirely of blocks (landscape, items, mobs, and the player), and low-resolution textures (16x16 texels) are used for texturing. The game was originally developed by Swedish programmer Markus Persson, also known as "Notch." The game was conceived as an Infiniminer clone, although Persson expressed a desire to make its gameplay similar to Dwarf Fortress. The game is written in Java using the LWJGL library.
The gameplay is simple: players mine resources to build houses, castles, and entire cities. Minecraft has virtually no limitations, other than level height; otherwise, players are free to create whatever they want. 🕘 Game release date: November 18, 2011
