MEET NORDS, THE NEW VIKING-INSPIRED FACTION
Map your way to the North Kingdom, home of the fearless Nords - legendary sailors and melee masters. Explore land with jagged peaks, vast taiga and frosty fjords where scattered settlements rise like ships from the sea. A bold adventurer can trade his goods, recruit his warriors, join their ranks, or challenge their rule. Will you join the North or seize its riches?

MASTER OF NAVAL WARFARE
War Sails presents a unique and exciting naval system inspired by stories of medieval naval battles. With realistic wind and water physics, ship-to-ship combat allows you to land on enemies from multiple points, ram them or attack from afar.

Captains can take advantage of opportunities by landing on ships already involved, prepare for an incoming attack by creating a floating fortress, or risk linking several enemies at once - giving their allies an advantage elsewhere. They can ram an enemy ship to sink it - or at least throw people off board, smash oars and compromise buoyancy. Well-placed arrows and ballista fire can also burst through the sails, further reducing mobility.

EXPLORE THE EXTENDED WORLD
Calradia has been reimagined with a northern region, a settled island, coastal waters and open seas. The dynamic weather system was also refined to include storms and trade winds. Ships move faster when they ride galleys, but beware - exhaustion can unravel even the best plans.

Naval systems and the "Nord" faction integrate into the Bannerlord world, changing trade, war and diplomacy. Ship production and new trade goods add regional diversity. Coastal cities can get rich from this - if they can fight off pirates and sea invasions.

Sieges were also adapted to naval warfare. The armies would have to take the fleet with them and establish a blockade if they wanted to stop supplies and reinforcements arriving by sea.

BUILD YOUR FLEET
Players can choose from 18 ship types modeled after historical vessels, each with unique processing shaped by realistic wind and wave physics. They can be tuned with siege engines, cargo holds, sails, rams and more. Shipyards build and store ships based on the culture and development of their city. Players can also capture ships and curly heads in combat.

EXPAND YOUR ARSENAL
The character system was expanded with Nord hairstyles, beards and tattoos. Three maritime skills have been added that improve navigation, tactics and control. There are also many new items including spears, swords, axes, shields and armour.

Troop trees now include Marines, which are more efficient at sea. Players can also recruit new companions with marine backgrounds.

EXAMINE THE ROPES
The new questline introduces players to the Calradia Seas through cinematography, scripted missions and classic Mount & Blade gameplay. Learn how to command your ship and then take it into battle against the pirate confederation. Lead a growing fleet of new allies, facing a range of maritime challenges.

ENHANCED SOUND
The sounds of the sea come alive with new Mediterranean and Scandinavian music tracks. Experience rich soundscapes with high-pitched winds, falling waves and creaking ships. Feel w
