The story takes place in Solistia, a country consisting of an eastern and western continent separated by the sea.

This is a tumultuous era, with large vessels laying busy sea lanes and the power of steam giving rise to new technologies.

Some people admire the glamorous stars of the stage and industry, while others are reduced to tears by war, plague and poverty.

In this far-flung area, eight travelers hailing from different regions depart for their own reasons. Stand in their place and explore the land as you see fit, using their unique talents to help you on your journey.

Start your adventure as one of eight new travellers, each with a different background, motivation and unique skills.
The series" HD-2D graphics, a fusion of retro pixel art and 3DCG, has reached even greater heights.
The story takes place in Solistia, where various cultures flourish from east to west and new era industries flourish. You can swim the seas and explore every corner of the world that changes from day to day.
Each traveler has a unique set of Path Actions that they can use to battle townspeople, receive items, take others on their travels, and more. Where are you going? What will you do? Every path is yours.
Familiar mechanics from the original game were retained, such as the freedom to develop your travellers "jobs and skills, and the Break and Boost system that made battles so exciting. New mechanics were also added.
