Outlast 2 brings to your attention Sullivan Knoth and his followers, who left our sinful world behind to start the Temple Gate, a city hidden from civilization, in a remote wilderness. Knoth and his group are preparing for the end of the world, and you are right in the middle of these events.

You are Blake Langermann, a cameraman working with your wife, Lynn. You two are investigative reporters willing to take risks and dig deeper to uncover stories that no one would dare to get into.

You investigate a chain of clues that began with the seemingly impossible murder of a pregnant woman known only as Jane Doe.

The investigation has taken you deep into the Arizona desert, into such darkness that no one could shed light on, and so much eerie corruption that the only thing you can do is go crazy.
