Pathologic Classic HD is the complete edition of the original cult first-person psychological survival game. The game offers a unique and unforgettable experience, transporting players to a strange town ominously lurking in the depths of the ancient steppe. Once a small settlement of cattle herders huddled around a monstrous slaughterhouse, something about the slaughterhouse next to it has transformed it. Over several generations, a strange social structure has developed here. The town might have quietly continued its strange path, but a sudden outbreak of an unknown and inevitably fatal disease devastated its inhabitants. Prayers failed. Science failed. So, finally, they turned to outsiders for help: three of them infiltrate the town in hopes of finding a cure or, failing that, an explanation. The first outsider is a ruthless investigator appointed by the local authorities. The second is the visionary Ripper, who has used his extraordinary abilities to build a reputation as a brilliant surgeon, arriving in the town in search of his father's terrible legacy. The third and final outsider is an eccentric girl rumored to possess mystical healing powers; she could be the town's salvation, if not for the constant fear that torments her—memories of the horrors of the recent past.
