Rebel Cops is a spin-off of This Is the Police, dedicated entirely to turn-based tactical operations. Lead a squad of ragtag cops rebelling against the criminal authorities and see how long you can hold out when supplies are constantly running low and a single bullet can cost your soldier his life.
You're not exactly the police, but you're the only one upholding the law now.
Viktor Zuev, a brutal crime boss, has taken over Ripton in a matter of weeks, subjugating the local elite and even the police department. Using blackmail and threats, Zuev terrorizes the entire city. The only ones who dare to stand up to him are a small group of former police officers who refused to serve the new government and handed in their badges. The goal is to put Viktor Zuev behind bars. The chances are slim, but the townspeople have no one else to rely on.
Gunfights are fun, but stealth is still more reliable.
You're waging a guerrilla war, and the bandits have far more men and supplies. So, carefully move from cover to cover, quietly pick off criminals one by one, and try to cuff them before they can raise the alarm. You have a range of non-lethal weapons and equipment at your disposal, as well as special tactical perks unlocked as you level up your soldiers. Sometimes you can't avoid gunfights, but in such situations, it's best to be doubly careful: neither criminals nor cops have health. The wounded will quickly bleed out and die, and a headshot means instant death.

Explore sandbox levels and steal from thieves
Rebel Cops features not only compact operations where you have to fight for every inch of space, but also large, open locations for exploration—so-called sandbox levels. Search rooms, crack safes and vaults, penetrate inaccessible areas, and try to steal as much valuables from criminals as possible. Keep your cops together to cover each other's backs, or take a risk and spread them out across the location, exploring every corner.

Is it possible to defeat crime without becoming a criminal?

Zuev's ruthlessness is the foundation of his power. Can you win without resorting to his methods? Will you fulfill the requests of desperate citizens if it could jeopardize the entire operation? Will you spare the civilian guards who are simply doing their job but get in your way? Some believe that all is fair in war, but remember: reputation is more valuable than money. Disgruntled citizens of Ripton can easily drag your good name through the mud. Merchants will be reluctant to do business with you, and even your own fighters may turn against you.
