In Resident Evil 4, Special Agent Leon S. Kennedy is tasked with rescuing the kidnapped daughter of the US President. His investigation leads him to a remote European village inhabited by aggressive fanatics of the mysterious Los Illuminados cult, the ones behind the kidnapping. Leon will face monstrous mutants and hostile villagers, mind-controlled by the Las Plagas parasites. These enemies are quite different from the hulking zombies of previous games in the series.
