ABOUT THE GAME:
Retrovirus is a six-degrees-of-freedom shooter that sends players into the depths of a computer to search for and destroy an invasive virus. Retrovirus is developed by Cadenza Interactive, the indie studio behind the popular tower defense game Sol Survivor.

Players take control of an antivirus program armed with the tools necessary to erase the virus's very existence from the system. Movement and exploration are at the core of the gameplay, and players are encouraged to adapt to the demands of a world where free flight is the norm. Of course, the virus is armed to fight back, and battles in the first-person shooter largely involve players testing their comfort level while navigating the machine environment. Each player can customize their antivirus program using various plugins, allowing for different approaches to the situation.
Retrovirus's single-player campaign focuses on the game's main story, with the player's goal being to eradicate the virus and discover its origins. To defeat the virus, the player must solve puzzles, engage in dogfight-style combat, and explore the depths of the virtual world.
