a gigantic, mysterious alien artifact has entered low-Earth orbit, causing a worldwide furor. The Earthlings dubbed the artifact a metahedron and sent a team for the study of life forms and communication (SCAR), consisting of scientists and engineers, to study it.
However, everything did not turn out as planned: the metahedron unexpectedly transported the team to a mysterious planet outside the Solar System. You play as Dr. Kate Ward from SCAR. She wakes up alone among an unfamiliar, hostile flora and fauna and goes on a camping trip to find colleagues and find out what brought earthlings to this world.

Kate is not a soldier at all, but she is an astronaut and a scientist — her knowledge and determination to survive at all costs can turn the tide of events.
