Shadow Complex Remastered is a remastered version of the 2009 action‑platformer, released in 2015–2016. The game blends Metroidvania exploration with stealth and shooter elements.
The story follows Jason Fleming, who, during a picnic with his girlfriend Claire, stumbles upon a secret terrorist base planning a coup. After Claire is kidnapped, Jason infiltrates the facility, gradually acquiring futuristic gear and new abilities (a jetpack, speed boots, a rocket launcher, etc.).
Players explore a sprawling multi‑level underground complex, revisiting previously inaccessible areas as they unlock new gadgets. The gameplay features combat, stealth tactics, and secret collectibles. The Remastered edition offers improved graphics, new melee combat moves, extra challenges (Master Challenges), and cloud save support.
