Shadow Gambit: Zagan's Ritual offers a new questline in Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew. It introduces a new playable character, Zagan the Renegade, a mysterious new island, and a gripping story unfolding over six quests.

• Play as a new character wielding dark powers: recruit Zagan the Renegade to your cursed crew. A brilliant and ruthless scientist, formerly a high-ranking member of the Inquisition, he is a prognosticator tormented by an insatiable thirst for knowledge. Touched by both the Curse and the Maiden's Flame, he wields dark powers—both powerful and unstable—which he unleashes against his enemies with fierce determination.

• Explore an island with a sinister castle: Visit Zagan's Lair on a mysterious new island in the Dark Caribbean, shrouded in darkness and mystery. Terror and the unknown, coupled with an eerie Gothic castle, create a deeply unsettling atmosphere on this island. Here, Zagan the Renegade works on his secret experiment.

• Uncover the mystery of the Maiden's Flame: Immerse yourself in the dark story unfolding within Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew across six missions in the Dark Caribbean. Join Zagan the Renegade as he invites the cursed crew of the Red Marley on a perilous adventure following the conclusion of a terrifying experiment.

• Integration into the main game: The new characters and island included in the expansion fit seamlessly into the main game. After unlocking the additional content, you can begin the Shadow Gambit: Zagan's Ritual episode and recruit Zagan the Renegade to your cursed pirate crew by completing the "Fruits of Her Labor" quest on Dreadroot Bay (available after reviving the first three characters). Once unlocked, you can begin Zagan's story at any time and take him with you on any mission in the main game.
