Silent Hill f takes place in the 1960s in the city of Ebisugaoka, which has an unpronounceable name. The main character is a Japanese girl named Hinako, who finds herself in a classic situation for the series: the city is engulfed in fog, and everything around her gradually turns into a nightmare. Now she must survive in this nightmare by solving puzzles and fighting terrifying monsters.

The game touches on rather philosophical topics — doubts, regrets, and some inevitable choices. It seems that the plot will be centered on a dilemma for Hinako: whether to see some beauty in the surrounding horror, or just go crazy from what is happening.

And also interesting people work on the game. The script is written by Ryukishi07 — this is a Japanese screenwriter and illustrator. The music is also partially made by Akira Yamaoka — the same composer who worked on the original parts of the series.
