Description:
"Sins of a Solar Empire II"
is a sequel to the critically acclaimed space strategy game that perfectly combines real—time tactics with 4X depth. Being both an emperor and a warlord, you have to lead one of the six playable factions and lead it to victory in the fight against the threat of extinction!
Real-time tactics combined with 4X depth
There are no moves here. There is no combat mode. There is no strategic mode. There's only one mode, and it's completely real-time.
part of the battle. Instantly move away to rule your empire, where every asteroid, moon, and planet revolves around its center in a slowly evolving strategic landscape.
Unprecedented gaming experiences
"Sins of a Solar Empire II" offers vast empires, large-scale fleets and completely new, exciting gameplay moments that can only be found in "Sins II".
Surprise: Form a second fleet on the breakaway asteroid and launch a devastating surprise attack as its orbit takes it behind enemy forces.
Body Lock: Delay the bombardment of the enemy's home planet by using your huge titan to block the clouds of missiles trying to destroy your space base and vital planetary shield.
Screen: Push a squadron of flak-protected frigates forward to protect your vulnerable long-range cruisers by intercepting enemy bombers and missiles.
Swarm: Use your fast ships to attack unprotected large ships. Their powerful but slow turrets simply do not have time to track your maneuverable strike group.
Influential: Convince an aggressive, expansionist Minor Faction to defend your border while maintaining enough Influence to win an auction for a powerful item to be installed on your best capital ship.
The ambush: Protect yourself from being stabbed in the back by forming a temporary alliance. But keep an eye on the time — as soon as the deadline expires, your "ally" can bring his fleet right to your gate!
Features
A dynamic galaxy: Planets revolve around their stars in real time, which gradually changes the structure of the galaxy, creating new battlefronts and new opportunities. Players can view the state of the galaxy an hour ahead to prepare their strategies.
3 unique races: This is the 35th year of the war, and the emerging TEC, alien Vasari, and deviant Advent have had to adapt and evolve in order to survive.
TEC: The inhabitants of this region of the galaxy, the TEC, are people who have joined together in a Trade Emergency Coalition to fight the Vasari alien Empire. They are heavily dependent on trade to maintain their industrial base and increase their income from resources.
Vasari: Ten thousand years ago, the Vasari Empire dominated hundreds of planets and dozens of intelligent species. Now fleeing from an unknown enemy, they use their possession of the phase space to conquer and extract resources to continue their exile.
Advent: A civilization of people driven out by Merchants over a thousand years ago, the apostate Advent returned with technologically enhanced psionics and the power of Unity, a destructive manifestation of their collective will.
Each race has unique starting conditions, game mechanics, units, abilities, items, and technologies. Their new revolutionary Empire Systems add a whole new level of strategic capability:
TEC Trading: The new TEC trading system allows them to dynamically adapt their economies by adjusting the allocation of traded resources as needed.
Vasari Phase Resonance: Strategically placed structures collect Phase Resonance, allowing Vasari to customize the global effects of phase mastery.
Advent Unity: It allows Advent to use the collective will of its population, revealing the full potential of global Unity abilities.
6 playable factions: The parent races are additionally distinguished by unique sub-factions, each of which has its own characteristics and play styles reflecting their motivations and goals. For example, TEC: Primacy is a xenophobic empire of "people first", focused on aggression, and Vasari: Exodus is ready to destroy planets to fuel its mobile empire.
Combat Simulator: The detailed combat simulator adds incredible depth to the tactical gameplay. Turrets with individual aiming angles and tracking speeds make firing calculations important in battles. Fully simulated missiles can be intercepted by ships or destroyed by point defense. New mechanics around shields, armor, and corps points deepen unit capabilities and tactical decisions.
Empire Management: Now all planets and ships can be easily analyzed, customized and upgraded in one place, without tedious switching between all units of your empire. The Smart Construction System will automatically build all the necessary chain of prerequisites to fulfill any request for the creation of an item, research or the construction of a unit.
Fleet management: The new fleet system now allows you to request the necessary reinforcements on the go. The requested units are automatically queued at the optimal factory and assembled into a fleet. Combined with Smart Construction, this allows you to focus on important tactical decisions and strategy on a large scale.
Setting up units: The surfaces of the planets can now be customized using special items that vary depending on the race and type of planet. Capital ships, Titans, and space bases can also be customized using race-specific items to bridge gaps in the fleet or focus on specific strategies.
Small fractions: Now, many small factions populate the galaxy, offering trade, auctions of rare items and, with enough influence, access to their most powerful abilities. Will you be friends with them or will you destroy them to prevent your enemies from turning them against you?
Diplomacy: Among the innovations are a system of offers and counter—offers, the ability to give or demand planets, as well as game-changing temporary truces that prevent your "ally" from stabbing you in the back before the deadline. But keep an eye on the time!
Game engine on 64-bit multi-core processors: The Sins II engine uses all available cores and RAM to maximize performance, both now and in the future. Dynamic lighting, physically correct rendering, high-resolution textures and much more create a magnificent picture.
10-player multiplayer support: The cloud-based online system now supports both membership codes and lobbies, making playing with others easier than ever. If a player quits the game or has to leave, you can join an ongoing party; human players can even replace the AI if a friend joins later.
Support for mods in the game: The game has integrated mod support, making it easy to find, install, and share mods. Custom maps are automatically distributed for multiplayer games, eliminating the need for all participants to download them in advance.
It's easy to start, difficult to achieve mastery: With its elegant and intuitive interface, Sins II is easy to learn. But to really master the chosen faction, it will take real skill.
