StrataWx is a modern alternative to Active Sky. The program transmits current atmospheric data in real time to MSFS 2024: wind and altitude temperature, cloud level, precipitation, pressure and aviation hazards, which are recorded directly into the running simulator using the in-game weather engine. No file replacement, no menu manipulation, and no sudden jumps typical of old weather engines. The weather is constantly updated and easily set during flight, anywhere on Earth, because StrataWx is based on global forecast models, not just data for the United States.
