🔒 WHERE CAN I GET A SECURITY CODE?
In order for your PSN account to have security codes, you need to set up two-factor authentication (2FA) on your account.
You can do this via the website https://store.playstation.com/

ℹ️ Instructions for setting up 2FA:
1. Go to the PS Store page and log in to your account;
2. Click on your profile icon and select “Account Settings”;
3. Go to the “Security” section;
4. Look for the “Two-factor authentication” option. Next to the “Deactivated” status, there is a ‘Edit’ button. Click it and enable the “Authenticator app.”
5. You will receive a list of 10 backup codes.

💠 Tips and recommendations:
If you choose SMS authentication, the codes may not arrive, so it is recommended to install an authenticator app.
You can use the following reliable authentication apps: 2FAS, Authy, and other similar apps.
Recovery codes are one-time use and stop working after a single use. To refresh the list of recovery codes, simply delete and re-enable two-factor authentication on your PSN account.
If the “Change” button is unavailable in step 4, it means “Network Login with Access Key” is enabled on your account. You must disable it before you can set up 2FA.
